Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Assist in maintaining the General Ledger (GL).
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and supplier invoices.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and customer collections.
• Verify financial documents before processing.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare expense reports and payment schedules.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Generate reports using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Support VAT-related documentation where applicable.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing required records.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes when appropriate.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with procurement, HR, operations, and finance teams.
• Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and financial summaries.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
• Support finance team members with daily operational activities.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of Accounting and Bookkeeping fundamentals.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP or Accounting Software such as Tally, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software is an added advantage.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
