Key Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts and supporting schedules.
• Process supplier payments and monitor customer collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing.
• Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
• Support budgeting and financial analysis activities.
• Assist with VAT documentation and statutory compliance where applicable.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of financial documents.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage daily office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and business correspondence.
• Maintain organized filing systems for administrative and financial documents.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement when necessary.
• Prepare letters, reports, presentations, and official documents.
• Maintain employee attendance records and administrative files.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, clients, and service providers.
• Support HR with onboarding documentation and employee records.
• Perform general office administration duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting and administrative roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
