Sun & Sand Discount Centre is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy at the checkout counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Welcome customers and provide friendly service.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and promotions.
• Support store operations during busy periods.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Experience handling cash and POS systems.
• Retail or supermarket experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier in a supermarket or retail store.
• Basic computer knowledge.
