Responsibilities:

• Review and verify vendor payment requests for policy compliance, keeping response times on track for every requesting department.
• Process T&E and other expense claims accurately, catching errors before they go through.
• Own vendor master data and follow up on outstanding balances with designated suppliers.
• Post journal entries and keep the books current, making sure accruals and estimates land in the right period.
• Reconcile outstanding balances and bank statements against financial records.
• Put together month-end schedules and support the close process end to end.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and file tax returns on time, and stay current on changes in local tax regulations.
• Keep accounting practices aligned with statutory tax rules, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Act as the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities when needed.
• Flag cost-saving opportunities and support budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and build strong working relationships across teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience as an AP Accountant or GA Accountant.
• Solid understanding of tech-industry expense structures, including T&E accounting.
• Comfortable working in ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle or SAP, plus Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and adapt as priorities shift.
• Trustworthy with confidential financial information.
• Able to stay effective under pressure and tight deadlines.
