Responsibilities

• Record, verify, and process daily financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and timely entries.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoice preparation, follow-ups, and reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis.

• Monitor expense reports, petty cash, and vendor payments to ensure proper approval and documentation.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.

• Assist internal and external auditors by preparing required schedules and documentation.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support operational requirements.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to continuous efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

• Excellent numerical accuracy and strong analytical skills.
