Accountant Full Time

Accountant jobs in Dubai are in high demand across consulting and corporate finance sectors. MDE MENA is seeking qualified professionals experienced in ERP accounting software, SAP FICO modules, Oracle Financials Cloud, IFRS financial reporting standards, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Candidates with expertise in internal audit coordination, cost accounting systems, risk management frameworks, budgeting processes, and accounting automation software will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance within the UAE market.

Key responsibilities:

The accountant is responsible for day-to-day financial accounting, overseeing banking payments, payroll, invoicing processing, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial analysis.

• Invoicing: Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely billing to clients. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Banking Payments: Oversee all banking transactions, including processing payments and managing cash flow. Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
• Payroll Accounting: Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax requirements.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts. Analyse variances and report findings to management.
• Account Reconciliation: Oversee reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Audit Coordination: Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations and have sound knowledge of corporate tax.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, including profitability analysis and cost management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining updated knowledge of changes in laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Commerce.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting, invoicing, and payroll.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly.
