Accountant Full Time

Accountant jobs in Dubai are highly competitive within the travel and tourism sector. Alhind Global Tourism is seeking qualified professionals experienced in ERP accounting software, SAP FICO modules, Oracle Financials Cloud, VAT compliance regulations, UAE corporate tax advisory standards, and IFRS financial reporting. Candidates with expertise in accounts payable and receivable management, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting systems, cost control strategies, and accounting automation software will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across tourism operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately and regularly.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved promptly.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely collections.

• Process vendor payments and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data.

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in tax return preparation.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.

• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information during audits.

• Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries if required.

• Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

• Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

• Relevant accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates may also apply depending on company requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
