Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately.

• Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.

• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on pending collections.

• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Prepare financial statements such as profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in tax return preparation.

• Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Monitor expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

• Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries if required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience in accounting or finance role preferred.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

• Knowledge of VAT and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
