A professional Accountant in Sharjah plays a crucial role in managing financial reporting, corporate accounting systems, VAT compliance, and business financial planning within modern organizations. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.

• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations.

• Coordinate WPS (Wage Protection System) salary processing.

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

• Track company expenses and ensure proper documentation.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation records.

• Support internal and external audits by providing financial documentation.

• Coordinate with project teams and departments on financial matters.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law regulations.

• Monitor financial performance and provide insights for cost control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience preferred.

• Knowledge of VAT filing, WPS, and financial reporting.

• Experience in the construction or steel industry is an advantage.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
