Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification of entries.
• Record patient billing, payments, and medical service transactions accurately.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying supplier invoices and processing timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including tracking patient payments, insurance claims, and follow-ups.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and expenses, identifying trends and potential issues.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Coordinate with administrative and medical teams for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a medical centre or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, reporting, and data analysis).
• Experience in handling medical billing and insurance-related transactions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of healthcare financial processes is preferred.
