Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Record and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification and accuracy in the general ledger.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by processing invoices, verifying documents, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial data matches bank statements and discrepancies are resolved.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning, providing accurate financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho, and QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping and reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
• Assist in audit preparation, providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue trends to support management decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or an ACCA Finalist qualification.
• Strong experience in using ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
