Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts in the accounting system.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices and processing supplier payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking collections, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions match bank statements.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring completeness of financial data.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and GCC regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and expenses, identifying discrepancies or irregularities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting and smooth operations.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 1 year of GCC experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with GCC financial regulations and practices is preferred.
