Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare invoices, bills, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately and on time.
• Manage and update Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
• Process journal entries and maintain General Ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control processes.
• Help track departmental expenditures against approved budgets.
• Verify financial documents and supporting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, and accounting records.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist with audit preparations by providing required reports and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.
• Support process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
