Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Handle Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and supplier reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, customer account reconciliation, and collection monitoring.
• Record financial transactions and post journal entries accurately.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial documentation.
• Assist with VAT documentation, tax-related records, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Prepare management reports and financial summaries as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Thorough understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with account reconciliations, ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting functions.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
