Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Maintain and update financial records and accounting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required.
• Monitor customer payments and assist in collection follow-ups.
• Process supplier payments and maintain vendor account records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Verify financial data and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Organize and file accounting documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Assist in budget tracking and expense monitoring.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist in preparing reports using Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience, OR
• UAE freshers with relevant accounting experience from their home country and own visa are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally within the accounting field.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
