Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily accounting records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Record journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts in the accounting system.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Assist in preparing and processing supplier invoices and customer billing.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and update financial data accurately.
• Monitor project-related expenses and assist in construction cost tracking.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports for management review.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents and records.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection activities.
• Coordinate with site and project teams regarding financial documentation.
• Assist in budgeting and expense monitoring for construction projects.
• Support audit requirements by providing necessary documents and records.

Qualification

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of project costing and construction-related financial tracking is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
