Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) accounts and supporting schedules.
• Verify financial transactions and ensure supporting documents are complete.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment collections.
• Process supplier payments and maintain vendor account records.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and updated at all times.

VAT & Compliance

• Prepare VAT calculations, supporting schedules, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Maintain proper accounting records for audit purposes.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and statutory requirements.

Administrative & Coordination

• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
• Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist with process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Expertise in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, financial reporting, and Balance Sheet preparation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in Hindi, Urdu, and English is essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in Dubai.
