Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and credit notes.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL).
• Process supplier payments and monitor customer collections.
• Verify accounting documents for accuracy before processing.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Monitor project costs and production-related financial transactions where applicable.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
• Maintain documentation for audits and statutory reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing financial records.
• Assist with VAT and tax-related documentation where required.
• Improve accounting procedures and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

Coordination & Administration

• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, HR, and project teams regarding financial matters.
• Prepare financial schedules and reports using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Respond to finance-related inquiries from management and internal departments.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, joinery, furniture, woodworking, or construction industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of both Arabic and English languages.
• Professional attitude with integrity and confidentiality.
