Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) records.
• Verify financial documents and supporting records before processing.
• Ensure all accounting entries are complete and accurate.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Generate management reports, financial summaries, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Maintain complete financial documentation for audit purposes.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Assist with tax documentation and statutory reporting where applicable.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
• Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.

ERP & Business Support

• Process accounting transactions through the company’s ERP system.
• Maintain accurate financial records within ERP software.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims, operations, and finance teams.
• Support administrative and finance-related projects assigned by management.
• Assist in improving financial reporting processes and system efficiency.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Previous experience in the Insurance or Reinsurance industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
