KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records and daily accounting entries.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare and process accounting entries while ensuring proper supporting documentation.
• Manage routine Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including supplier invoices and payment records.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) records and monitor outstanding customer balances.
• Prepare and record customer and supplier invoices accurately.
• Record and maintain quotations, invoices, expenses, receipts, and payment documents.
• Verify accounting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and identify differences between bank statements and accounting records.
• Investigate and assist in resolving discrepancies in bank, customer, supplier, and ledger accounts.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports, summaries, and accounting statements for management review.
• Provide accurate accounting information and supporting schedules when required.
• Assist with month-end accounting activities and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor accounting data and identify missing, duplicate, or incorrectly recorded entries.
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain financial records, prepare calculations, organize data, and generate reports.
• Use accounting software to record transactions, maintain ledgers, process invoices, and retrieve financial information.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and accounting queries.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records and sensitive company information.
• Follow company accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Support audits and financial reviews by providing relevant accounting records and documents.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in Accounting & Finance or a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and daily accounting entries.
• Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience recording invoices, quotations, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Good knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures.
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and accounting documentation.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• UAE accounting experience will be an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well-organized and capable of maintaining proper financial records.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and professional approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
