Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain updated accounting records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances when required.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure all financial records are properly documented and filed.
• Verify financial transactions and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Support VAT documentation and compliance-related activities where applicable.
• Assist auditors by preparing financial records and required documentation.
• Generate accounting reports and management summaries as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and financial regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and financial reporting functions.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
