Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all invoices are processed according to company policies and contractual agreements.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and track outstanding customer balances.
• Follow up on overdue payments through phone calls, emails, and formal communication.
• Process customer payments and ensure accurate allocation and posting within the accounting system.
• Reconcile customer accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Investigate payment issues and coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions, payments, and account activities.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payment schedules, credit terms, and account-related concerns.
• Prepare periodic Accounts Receivable reports for management review.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring receivable balances are accurate and up to date.
• Assist in maintaining customer credit records and monitoring credit limits where applicable.
• Coordinate with the sales and finance teams regarding billing issues and customer account management.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and accounting standards.
• Support audit requirements by providing necessary receivable documentation and records.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and enhance cash flow management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and customer data.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance-related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts receivable processes, and credit control procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial management software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of invoicing procedures, collections, and customer account management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
