Key Responsibilities

Desktop & IT Support

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Troubleshoot system performance, connectivity, application, and user-access problems.
• Provide technical assistance to employees in a professional and timely manner.
• Support users with day-to-day IT-related questions and technical requirements.
• Ensure IT equipment remains operational and available to users.

Windows & Microsoft 365 Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office applications, email, and productivity tools.
• Perform software installations, updates, patches, and basic configuration.
• Troubleshoot application errors and compatibility issues.
• Maintain systems according to company IT standards and procedures.

Network Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve basic network and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot common TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP-related problems.
• Assist users with wired and wireless network connectivity.
• Check basic network configurations and identify connectivity failures.
• Escalate complex network problems to the appropriate technical team.
• Maintain proper records of recurring connectivity issues.

Active Directory & User Administration

• Perform basic Active Directory user account administration.
• Create, modify, disable, and manage user accounts according to company procedures.
• Assist with password resets and account access issues.
• Support user permissions and access requirements.
• Ensure user accounts are handled securely and appropriately.
• Follow company IT security and access-control policies.

Remote & Onsite Support

• Provide technical support onsite and remotely.
• Use approved remote support tools to diagnose and resolve user issues.
• Communicate with users clearly while troubleshooting technical problems.
• Ensure support tickets are updated with accurate resolution details.
• Prioritize urgent technical issues and respond within agreed service timelines.
• Travel to client or company locations when required to provide onsite support.

Ticketing & Incident Management

• Receive, monitor, and resolve IT support tickets through ticketing systems.
• Record technical problems, troubleshooting steps, and solutions accurately.
• Follow up on unresolved tickets and keep users informed about progress.
• Identify recurring issues and report them to senior IT staff.
• Escalate complex or critical technical problems to higher-level support teams.
• Maintain accurate support documentation and knowledge records.

IT Asset Management

• Perform IT asset management for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment assigned to users.
• Assist with equipment installation, replacement, and configuration.
• Track IT assets and report missing, damaged, or faulty equipment.
• Support software installation and licensing requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for IT inventory and equipment movements.

Mandatory Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Desktop or IT Support.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Practical knowledge of Active Directory.
• Good understanding of basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience using remote support tools.
• Experience working with IT ticketing systems.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems logically and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Professional attitude and willingness to support users patiently.
• Must have a valid UAE Driving License.
• Must have own car for onsite support requirements.
