Key Responsibilities

• Monitor installation progress and ensure work is completed within project timelines.
• Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate technical solutions.
• Ensure electrical installations meet required quality and safety standards.
• Review site conditions before starting electrical installation activities.

LV/MV Electrical Systems

• Manage and supervise LV/MV electrical installation works.
• Ensure proper installation of electrical distribution systems, panels, cables, and related equipment.
• Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Coordinate electrical works with other building services and construction activities.
• Monitor testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure electrical systems are installed according to approved specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and specialist contractors when required.

Cable & Panel Works

• Supervise cable installation, cable pulling, termination, dressing, and identification.
• Monitor installation of LV/MV cables according to approved routes and technical requirements.
• Ensure proper cable support, containment, labeling, and termination.
• Supervise installation of electrical panels, distribution boards, control panels, and related equipment.
• Check panel positioning, alignment, connections, and installation quality.
• Coordinate testing and inspection of cables and panels.
• Identify installation defects and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Team Supervision

• Supervise electrical technicians, electricians, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Allocate daily work activities according to project priorities.
• Monitor team productivity and ensure work is completed correctly.
• Provide technical guidance and instructions to site teams.
• Ensure workers follow approved installation procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate manpower and material requirements with project management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and progress.

Drawings & Technical Coordination

• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
• Coordinate with consultants and design teams regarding technical issues.
• Assist with preparing material requirements and work schedules.
• Maintain updated records of site changes and installation progress.
• Support preparation of inspection requests and technical submissions.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure electrical installations meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed and ongoing electrical works.
• Identify defective installations and coordinate corrective measures.
• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety requirements.
• Promote safe working practices among electrical teams.
• Ensure appropriate PPE and electrical safety procedures are followed.
• Report safety hazards and technical concerns to management immediately.

Project Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly electrical site progress reports.
• Monitor work progress against project schedules.
• Report manpower, material, technical, and site-related issues.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams regarding electrical material requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, testing, and completed works.
• Assist project management with progress monitoring and planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience working on high-rise building projects.
• Strong expertise in electrical systems and site execution.
• Hands-on experience with LV/MV installation works.
• Experience in commercial towers and large-scale building projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cable installation and termination.
• Experience supervising electrical panel and distribution system installation.
