Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives aligned with business goals.
• Monitor budget performance and provide regular budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Develop branch-wise and department-wise profitability reports.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Track financial performance and present status updates to senior management.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss statements.
• Present financial reports and business performance updates to management.
• Develop financial models, forecasting tools, and performance dashboards.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare operational, regulatory, compliance, and risk management reports.

Accounting Operations & Internal Controls

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain accounting records, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and financial controls.
• Implement and monitor strong internal control frameworks.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of accounting workflows and processes.

Cash & Banking Management

• Manage banking relationships, lending facilities, and financial arrangements with banks, lenders, and AGEX Group.
• Monitor cash flow movements and liquidity requirements.
• Ensure proper authorization and control over banking transactions.
• Review and approve bank reconciliations and treasury activities.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

• Coordinate external audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections, including CBUAE requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, corporate governance, and statutory regulations.
• Assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate systems, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with department managers on risk management and internal controls.
• Provide financial guidance to support operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Direct experience in an Exchange House is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, risk management, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
