Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Achieve 100% first-time delivery success while maintaining zero customer complaints.
• Complete assigned deliveries safely, accurately, and within scheduled timelines.
• Maximize the number and value of deliveries handled per truck according to company benchmarks.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to improve productivity and minimize unnecessary delays.
• Ensure goods reach customers in proper condition and within the agreed delivery schedule.
• Communicate delivery status and operational concerns to supervisors.

Stock & Document Verification

• Verify stock quantities and product details against delivery documents before loading.
• Ensure all goods loaded onto the vehicle match the required sales or delivery documents.
• Report stock shortages, excess quantities, damaged goods, or other discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to resolve discrepancies before delivery whenever possible.
• Ensure all required delivery documentation is available before leaving the warehouse.
• Handle documents carefully and maintain accurate delivery records.

GRV & Sales Returns

• Accurately handle GRV (Goods Return Voucher) and sales return procedures.
• Ensure returned goods are properly documented and handed over according to company procedures.
• Return excess, damaged, or interchanged stock to the designated location on time.
• Verify returned quantities and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams regarding return-related issues.
• Ensure no company stock is left unaccounted for after completing deliveries.

Customer Service

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior when dealing with customers.
• Communicate clearly regarding delivery schedules, quantities, and documentation.
• Handle customer concerns respectfully and report unresolved complaints to the supervisor.
• Ensure goods are delivered carefully to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Obtain appropriate delivery confirmation from customers.
• Represent the company professionally at customer locations.

Delivery Closure & POD

• Ensure delivery transactions are properly closed within 24 hours.
• Submit Proof of Delivery (POD) accurately and on time.
• Ensure customer signatures, stamps, digital confirmations, or other required delivery evidence are properly obtained.
• Submit completed delivery documents to the relevant department without unnecessary delays.
• Report missing or incomplete POD documents immediately.
• Maintain proper records of completed deliveries and outstanding documentation.

Vehicle & Resource Management

• Maintain the assigned heavy-duty vehicle in clean and safe operating condition.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks before starting delivery operations.
• Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents, or damages immediately.
• Properly use and maintain delivery resources, including vehicles, trolleys, and other equipment.
• Ensure delivery equipment is returned and stored properly after use.
• Follow all vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.

Safety, SOP & Compliance

• Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) diligently.
• Comply with UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Practice safe loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery procedures.
• Maintain required grooming and hygiene standards for yourself and the assigned vehicle.
• Work responsibly while protecting company property, goods, and customer products.
• Report accidents, safety concerns, delivery issues, or operational risks immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum 10th Grade Pass.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License for 10-ton vehicles or trailer operations.
• Relevant heavy-duty driving and delivery experience is preferred.
• Strong and physically fit, with the ability to handle demanding delivery duties.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic laws and roads.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation systems.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and customer-focused.
