Key Responsibilities

IT Support

• Provide IT support to all branches and head office.
• Respond to technical support requests from employees and branch teams.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Assist users with system access, configuration, and basic technical problems.
• Install and configure computers, printers, peripherals, and approved software.
• Provide timely support to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain records of technical issues and completed support activities.

Hardware Management

• Maintain and monitor IT hardware and equipment across branches and head office.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related devices.
• Conduct basic hardware inspections and identify equipment requiring repair or replacement.
• Maintain proper records of IT assets and equipment.
• Coordinate hardware replacement and repair activities.
• Ensure equipment is configured according to company requirements.
• Support the safe and efficient use of company IT assets.

Software & Application Support

• Install, update, configure, and troubleshoot approved software applications.
• Support employees with application-related technical issues.
• Monitor application performance and report recurring problems.
• Assist with software updates and system upgrades.
• Ensure authorized software is installed and maintained properly.
• Coordinate with vendors when application issues require external support.
• Maintain documentation related to IT applications and configurations.

Network Support

• Support the organization’s network infrastructure across branches and head office.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, connectivity, and network-access issues.
• Monitor network-related problems and coordinate with service providers where required.
• Assist with network device configuration under approved procedures.
• Ensure branches maintain reliable connectivity for daily operations.
• Identify recurring network issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain basic documentation of network equipment and connections.

Payment Systems & Financial Applications

• Provide technical support for payment systems and applications.
• Assist branches with technical issues affecting payment or transaction systems.
• Support exchange and financial applications where applicable.
• Coordinate with application vendors and service providers to resolve system issues.
• Escalate critical payment-system problems promptly.
• Help ensure technology-related interruptions are minimized.
• Maintain confidentiality when working with financial and transaction-related systems.

IT Security

• Support basic IT security controls across branches and head office.
• Assist with user access, passwords, permissions, and approved security procedures.
• Monitor and report potential security issues to management.
• Ensure computers and systems are maintained according to security requirements.
• Support antivirus, endpoint protection, and approved security updates.
• Follow company policies for data protection and system access.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, and customer information.

Backup & Data Integrity

• Support regular data backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor backup activities and report failures or irregularities.
• Assist in maintaining data integrity across approved systems.
• Follow company procedures for data storage and recovery.
• Support disaster-recovery and business-continuity requirements where assigned.
• Ensure critical technical information is properly documented.
• Escalate data-related issues immediately.

Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers, software suppliers, and maintenance companies.
• Raise support requests and follow up on outstanding technical issues.
• Arrange service visits and equipment repairs when required.
• Verify completion of vendor-related technical work.
• Maintain records of vendor support activities.
• Communicate technical requirements clearly to external service providers.
• Assist management in evaluating technical solutions when required.

Branch IT Operations

• Conduct regular IT support activities across assigned branches and locations.
• Ensure branch computers, networks, printers, and applications are operational.
• Assist branch employees with technical requirements.
• Respond promptly to urgent branch IT problems.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and system updates.
• Maintain consistent IT standards across branches.
• Travel to branches when on-site support is required.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate IT asset, support, maintenance, and incident records.
• Prepare basic IT status and support reports.
• Document recurring technical problems and solutions.
• Maintain records of software installations, hardware replacements, and vendor services.
• Ensure IT documentation remains current and organized.
• Provide technical information to management when requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of all IT-related records.

Requirements

• Previous IT experience, preferably in an Exchange or Financial Services environment.
• Experience in IT support, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of payment systems and banking/exchange applications is an advantage.
• Good understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting and connectivity.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide professional user support.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• UAE experience is preferred.
