Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, network, and access-related issues.
• Provide timely technical assistance to end users through onsite and remote support.
• Troubleshoot system errors and minimize user downtime.
• Escalate complex incidents to appropriate technical teams when required.
• Maintain accurate records of technical problems and solutions.
• Provide professional and customer-focused IT support.

Windows & macOS Support

• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain desktop and laptop systems.
• Resolve operating-system errors, application issues, performance problems, and user configuration issues.
• Assist users with system settings, software installations, and device configurations.
• Apply approved updates and patches.
• Ensure endpoint devices remain secure and operational.
• Support standard desktop configurations across the organization.

Microsoft 365 Support

• Provide hands-on support for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Assist users with email configuration and account-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Teams meetings, collaboration, file synchronization, and access problems.
• Support OneDrive and SharePoint access and synchronization.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 user administration where required.
• Escalate complex cloud-service issues to the relevant technical team.

Active Directory & User Administration

• Administer Active Directory user accounts, security groups, permissions, and Organizational Units (OUs).
• Create, modify, disable, and manage user accounts according to approved procedures.
• Perform password resets and account-related support.
• Manage user access and permissions based on authorization.
• Support account changes during employee transfers and role changes.
• Maintain accurate user and access information.
• Follow security and access-control policies.

Device & Endpoint Management

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint devices.
• Prepare desktops and laptops for new and existing employees.
• Configure printers, scanners, meeting-room equipment, and other IT peripherals.
• Maintain device inventories and allocation records.
• Assist with endpoint configuration and approved management tools.
• Support device replacement and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and securely handled.

Onboarding & Offboarding

• Support employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes.
• Prepare and allocate computers, laptops, mobile devices, accessories, and other IT equipment.
• Configure user accounts, applications, permissions, and access requirements.
• Collect IT equipment during employee separation.
• Disable or modify user access according to approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate device allocation and return records.
• Coordinate with HR and relevant departments regarding IT requirements.

ITSM & Service Desk

• Handle incidents and service requests through ITSM / Service Desk platforms.
• Categorize, prioritize, update, and close support tickets accurately.
• Maintain clear documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Monitor assigned tickets and ensure timely follow-up.
• Work according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate unresolved incidents appropriately.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.

Network & Connectivity Support

• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and access issues.
• Support wired and wireless connectivity problems.
• Diagnose issues involving IP configuration, internet connectivity, and network access.
• Assist users with remote-access and connectivity requirements.
• Coordinate with network teams for complex infrastructure issues.
• Document network-related incidents and resolutions.
• Ensure users receive timely assistance with connectivity problems.

Endpoint Security

• Support endpoint security, patch management, and antivirus solutions.
• Ensure devices receive approved security updates and patches.
• Assist with antivirus installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Report suspicious activities or potential security incidents.
• Follow organizational security policies and procedures.
• Protect company systems and user information from unauthorized access.
• Maintain secure handling of company devices and credentials.

Remote Support

• Provide effective remote technical support to users.
• Use approved remote-support tools to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Guide users through technical troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain professional communication during remote sessions.
• Document remote-support activities in the ITSM system.
• Escalate issues requiring onsite or specialist assistance.
• Support users across different locations when required.

Experience

• 6+ years of relevant IT Support, Desktop Support, or Service Desk experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Practical Microsoft 365 troubleshooting and administration experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and user administration.
• Experience with hardware, software, network, and access troubleshooting.
• Experience with remote-support tools and IT ticketing systems.
• Understanding of endpoint security, patch management, and antivirus solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Native Arabic speaker – Mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent user-support and customer-service skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Practical Active Directory administration experience.
• Ability to manage multiple incidents and service requests.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an IT team.
• Professional approach to confidential information and system access.
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days are strongly preferred.
