KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Healthcare IT & Application Support

• Provide day-to-day application support and troubleshooting for healthcare systems and applications.
• Support users in resolving application errors, access issues, system problems, and workflow-related technical concerns.
• Investigate reported incidents and identify appropriate solutions within established service requirements.
• Monitor recurring application issues and assist in identifying root causes.
• Escalate complex technical problems to relevant vendors or senior technical teams when required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, system changes, and support activities.

Cerner Millennium Support

• Provide hands-on technical and functional support for Cerner Millennium.
• Assist healthcare users with system navigation, application functionality, access, and workflow-related issues.
• Support clinical departments in resolving Cerner-related problems efficiently.
• Coordinate with relevant application, infrastructure, and vendor teams when system issues require further investigation.
• Assist with application updates, configuration changes, testing, and implementation activities as assigned.
• Maintain appropriate documentation related to Cerner support procedures and system issues.

Clinical Systems Administration

• Support the administration and maintenance of clinical information systems.
• Assist with user accounts, access permissions, application configurations, and system-related requests.
• Ensure clinical applications remain available and aligned with operational requirements.
• Participate in application testing, upgrades, system changes, and new technology deployments.
• Follow established IT security, privacy, change-management, and healthcare technology procedures.
• Assist with maintaining system documentation and operational procedures.

User Training & Stakeholder Support

• Provide user training and technical guidance to healthcare staff.
• Develop or assist with user guides, procedures, and training materials.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Work closely with clinical, administrative, and management teams to understand technology requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
• Gather user feedback and identify opportunities to improve application support and usability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant IT experience in a healthcare environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium is required.
• Practical experience in healthcare application support and clinical systems administration.
• Strong understanding of IT support processes and troubleshooting methodologies.
