Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to computers, laptops, and other IT equipment.
• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff and users across the organization.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on all IT equipment and systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.
• Provide technical assistance and support for:
  • Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs)
  • Projectors
  • Printers
  • Photocopiers
  • Telephones and communication systems
  • Other peripheral devices and classroom technology
• Monitor the performance and reliability of IT systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all ICT assets are properly maintained, secured, and inventoried.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Use the IT Helpdesk system to log, prioritize, track, and resolve support requests within agreed service levels.
• Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, equipment inventories, and maintenance activities.
• Support software deployments, updates, and system upgrades.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues when required.
• Provide user guidance and training on technology systems and applications.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external vendors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with organizational policies and IT best practices.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support and helpdesk support systems – Essential.
• Degree-level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline – Preferable.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and services – Essential.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral device support.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High levels of personal integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality support.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ideally, candidates will already be residing in Abu Dhabi and available for immediate or short-notice employment.
