Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze food & beverage costs, prepare variance reports and highlight discrepancies
• Support menu pricing, recipe costing, and cost optimization initiatives
• Conduct inventory counts, track stock movements, and reconcile variances
• Perform spot checks on goods received and ensure compliance with procedures
• Verify and process supplier invoices; reconcile supplier statements and manage payables
• Reconcile daily sales, cash deposits, and POS reports; investigate variances
• Assist in month-end closing, journal entries, and preparation of cost and management reports
• Support audit preparation, VAT documentation, and financial compliance
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve cost control and reporting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, cost control or auditing.
• Experience in hospitality / F&B industry preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, familiarity with POS systems (e.g Oracle Micros, Micros Symphony, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT and general accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
