Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and supporting schedules.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Maintain organized accounting records and files.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and vendor payments.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor receivables.
• Reconcile supplier and customer account balances.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Verify payment requests before processing.
• Maintain accurate AP and AR records.

Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting

• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash transactions and ledger balances.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management reports and financial summaries.
• Assist in budgeting and financial analysis.

Administrative & Audit Support

• Maintain financial documentation for audits.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance matters.
• Assist external and internal auditors by providing required records.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by senior accountants or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Candidates should ideally be located in Dubai.
