Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
• Maintain proper bookkeeping and financial documentation.
• Assist in updating the General Ledger (GL).
• Verify supporting documents before processing transactions.
• Organize accounting files and maintain accurate records.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Assist in processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Monitor customer payments and update receivable records.
• Prepare payment schedules and customer statements.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices when required.
• Maintain accurate AP and AR records.
• Support reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare expense reports and financial summaries.
• Assist in preparing cash flow and management reports.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.

Administrative & Finance Support

• Coordinate with finance, procurement, HR, and operations departments.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Support internal and external audits by organizing documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks assigned by senior accountants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
