Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions and accounting entries accurately.
• Assist with bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries under the guidance of senior finance staff.
• Verify invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files.
• Ensure all accounting records are updated within required deadlines.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Assist with processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Support the preparation of customer invoices.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
• Reconcile supplier and customer account balances.
• Follow up on pending invoices and outstanding payments.
• Assist in resolving billing and payment discrepancies.

Bank Reconciliation & Reporting

• Assist with regular bank reconciliations.
• Match financial transactions with bank statements.
• Identify discrepancies and report them to senior accountants.
• Prepare basic financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with management reporting and financial analysis.

Documentation & Administrative Support

• Organize invoices, receipts, vouchers, and financial documents.
• Maintain proper filing systems for easy document retrieval.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with different departments to collect accounting documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
