Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for multiple client portfolios.
• Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain the General Ledger (GL).
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate management reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and prepare performance reports.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management.

UAE VAT & Corporate Tax

• Prepare and review UAE VAT returns accurately.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
• Maintain VAT documentation and tax records.
• Assist clients with VAT registration, amendments, and compliance.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Keep updated with changes in UAE tax laws and accounting standards.

Client Portfolio Management

• Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Provide professional financial advice and accounting support to clients.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and accounting requests.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients.
• Ensure confidentiality of client financial information.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Confidence in managing multiple client portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Polished, professional client communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
