Responsibilities

1. Health & Safety Management

  • Implement and monitor occupational health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., UAE OSHAD / municipality guidelines).
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for staff and subcontractors.

2. Quality Management

  • Support implementation of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Monitor service delivery standards across facility operations (cleaning, maintenance, MEP, etc.).
  • Handle client complaints and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure continuous improvement.

3. Environmental Management

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Monitor waste management, energy usage, and environmental impact.
  • Promote eco-friendly initiatives within facilities.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain QHSE documentation, reports, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Prepare reports for management and clients.
  • Assist during external audits and certifications.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Conduct QHSE induction training for new employees.
  • Organize emergency drills (fire, evacuation, etc.).
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all teams.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory or preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in QHSE, preferably in facility management.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
