Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the company’s customer base.
• Identify potential contractors, industrial customers, engineering companies, and project clients.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Promote the company’s industrial products and solutions to prospective customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and identify business opportunities.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and customer relationships.
• Develop effective sales strategies to increase product demand and market presence.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates to management.

Industrial Product Sales

• Promote and sell a range of industrial and engineering products.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Provide customers with accurate product information, specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Develop strong knowledge of products, applications, and industry requirements.
• Explain product benefits and commercial advantages to customers.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and repeat business.
• Maintain awareness of competitor products and market pricing.

Quotations & Order Management

• Prepare accurate sales quotations based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Handle customer negotiations professionally while protecting company margins.
• Coordinate with internal departments to process confirmed orders.
• Monitor order status and keep customers informed about progress.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with relevant teams.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collections.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and follow-ups.
• Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Understand customer expectations and provide timely responses to inquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with relevant internal departments.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales records.
• Develop long-term relationships to encourage repeat orders and business growth.
• Follow up with existing customers regularly to identify additional requirements.

Market Research & Project Development

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Identify upcoming construction, industrial, and engineering projects.
• Research new project opportunities and potential customers.
• Maintain awareness of product demand and market developments.
• Provide management with relevant market feedback.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new products or expand existing product sales.
• Develop relationships with contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and industrial organizations.

Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Stores, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Ensure product availability before confirming customer requirements.
• Coordinate order processing and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with Finance regarding customer payments and collections.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate customer requirements accurately to internal departments.
• Support smooth execution of customer orders from quotation to delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial product sales.
• Previous B2B or technical sales experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial products and customer requirements.
• Experience in the UAE industrial or construction market is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience selling welding products and equipment.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety products.
• Experience with lifting equipment and accessories.
• Knowledge of abrasives and cutting products.
• Experience selling hand tools and engineering supplies.
• Existing customer network within construction, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
