Senior Accountant Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) and 8 to 10 years of total accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Senior Accountant role within the GCC. The role requires expertise in accounts finalization and the ability to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely finalization of accounts and financial statements.
• Handle VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (M.Com) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of total accounting experience, with at least 3 years as a Senior Accountant in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of accounts finalization, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Zoho, or similar).
• Expertise in UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to join immediately is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [industry-specific experience, if applicable].
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
