Senior Accountant Full Time

HOLZCRAFT MACHINERY TRADING is seeking experienced finance professionals skilled in UAE corporate tax regulations, VAT compliance, financial reporting under IFRS, inventory accounting, cost control, and general ledger management. Candidates with expertise in SAP accounting systems, Oracle ERP finance modules, budgeting and forecasting, audit documentation, and treasury management will find strong leadership opportunities in Dubai’s competitive trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with accounting standards and management requirements.

• Ensure proper implementation and compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Prepare VAT returns and support corporate tax documentation and reporting processes.

• Maintain accurate accounting records using Odoo and Tally accounting software.

• Conduct bank, cash, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense control measures.

• Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions during month-end and year-end closing.

• Coordinate with external auditors and support CA audit processes by providing required schedules and documentation.

• Ensure timely submission of statutory filings and regulatory reports.

• Identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, financial regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE accounting experience.

• Immediate availability is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Proven experience in preparation of financial reports and management reporting.

• Hands-on experience with Odoo and Tally accounting systems.

• Good understanding of CA audit processes and documentation requirements.

• Experience in MIS preparation and financial analysis.
