KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming materials, tools, spare parts, and supplies from suppliers and verify quantities against purchase documents.
• Inspect received materials for visible damage, defects, incorrect quantities, or mismatched specifications.
• Record all incoming materials accurately in inventory systems, registers, or stock records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all store items.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure required materials are available when needed.
• Store materials properly according to their type, usage, safety requirements, and storage conditions.
• Issue materials, tools, and spare parts to technicians and authorized personnel as required.
• Maintain proper records of all material issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and compare quantities with system or manual records.
• Identify and report stock shortages, excess quantities, damaged items, or discrepancies to management.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform procurement teams about replenishment requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Operations teams regarding material requirements, purchase orders, deliveries, and availability.
• Prepare regular reports on stock movement, material usage, receipts, and issues.
• Track frequently used maintenance materials and support efficient stock planning.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained.
• Arrange materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Maintain proper labeling of shelves, bins, tools, spare parts, and other inventory items.
• Ensure tools and materials are issued only against authorized requests or documentation.
• Maintain records of returned, unused, defective, or damaged materials.
• Assist during periodic inventory audits and stocktaking activities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of MEP and maintenance-related materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of inventory and company records.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and inventory-control policies.
• Perform other storekeeping and inventory-related duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Storekeeper.
• Experience in a maintenance or Facilities Management (FM) company is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock-control procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MEP/HVAC, electrical, and plumbing materials is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently.
• Ability to maintain proper documentation and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible, and physically capable of handling store-related activities.
