Key Responsibilities

Reservation & Ticketing

• Handle airline and travel reservations accurately and efficiently.
• Check flight availability, schedules, fares, and booking conditions.
• Create and update passenger reservations based on customer requirements.
• Issue airline tickets and travel documents correctly.
• Verify passenger details, travel dates, destinations, and fare information before ticket issuance.
• Provide customers with accurate booking and ticketing information.
• Ensure all reservations are properly documented and updated.

Ticket Changes & Cancellations

• Process ticket changes, cancellations, reissues, and refunds according to airline and company policies.
• Explain applicable fare rules, penalties, and cancellation conditions to customers.
• Handle changes to travel dates, flight schedules, passenger information, and itinerary details.
• Coordinate with airlines when special approval or assistance is required.
• Maintain accurate records of ticket modifications and cancellations.
• Ensure refund requests are processed according to applicable procedures.

Customer Service

• Provide professional and friendly customer service throughout the booking process.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding flights, fares, baggage allowances, schedules, and ticket conditions.
• Understand customer travel requirements and recommend suitable available options.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Provide timely updates regarding booking changes, delays, cancellations, or schedule adjustments.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.

Reservation System Management

• Use airline and travel reservation and ticketing systems to create and manage bookings.
• Enter passenger and itinerary information accurately into the system.
• Maintain updated booking records and passenger details.
• Check fare availability and reservation status.
• Process ticketing transactions according to established procedures.
• Ensure system entries are accurate and complete.
• Report technical or system-related issues to the appropriate team.

Travel Documentation

• Assist customers with required travel documentation and booking information.
• Verify passport details, passenger names, travel dates, and other relevant information where applicable.
• Ensure ticket details match the customer’s requested itinerary.
• Provide electronic or printed tickets and booking confirmations.
• Maintain proper documentation of reservations and transactions.
• Handle customer information confidentially.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with airlines, travel suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Follow up on pending reservations and ticketing requests.
• Communicate airline schedule changes and booking updates to customers.
• Coordinate special requests with airlines when required.
• Maintain professional relationships with airline representatives and service providers.
• Escalate complex ticketing issues to supervisors or management.

Daily Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate records of daily ticketing activities.
• Prepare booking, cancellation, refund, and sales-related reports when required.
• Ensure ticketing transactions are properly recorded.
• Follow company procedures for cash, card, or other payment transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Perform additional ticketing and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in airline or travel ticketing.
• Good knowledge of reservation and ticketing procedures.
• Strong understanding of flight schedules, fares, bookings, cancellations, and ticket changes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with reservation systems.
