Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transportation

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Transport employees, clients, goods, or documents to designated locations.
• Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Deliver shipments securely and obtain delivery confirmations.
• Follow assigned schedules and transportation requests.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while driving.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before starting duties.
• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tire pressure, and brake systems regularly.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean inside and outside.
• Report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Arrange vehicle servicing according to maintenance schedules.
• Maintain vehicle registration and insurance documents.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all road safety rules and company driving policies.
• Ensure passengers wear seat belts where applicable.
• Drive responsibly under all weather and road conditions.
• Maintain a clean driving record by adhering to traffic regulations.
• Handle emergencies calmly and report accidents immediately.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods.

Documentation & Administration

• Maintain daily vehicle logbooks and mileage records.
• Record fuel consumption and maintenance activities.
• Collect delivery signatures and maintain transport documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding travel schedules.
• Assist with basic administrative errands when required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle category.
• Previous experience as a professional driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads, highways, and traffic regulations.
• Strong commitment to road safety and defensive driving.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading or unloading when required.
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, or overtime when necessary.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
