Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Process supplier payments and customer receipts promptly.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending collections.
• Verify financial documents before processing transactions.
• Maintain petty cash records and ensure proper documentation.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Assist in VAT preparation and statutory reporting where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records for audit purposes.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
• Maintain proper filing systems for accounting records.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documents.
• Assist management with finance-related administrative tasks.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by supervisors.
