Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Reception

• Welcome patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
• Direct patients and visitors to the appropriate departments or healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling patient information.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

Patient Registration & Appointment Scheduling

• Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments efficiently.
• Verify patient demographic information before appointments.
• Coordinate appointment schedules with doctors and clinical staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient visits.
• Assist patients with appointment-related questions.

Health Insurance & Eligibility Verification

• Verify patient health insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments.
• Coordinate with insurance providers regarding approvals and coverage details.
• Maintain accurate insurance records within the system.
• Inform patients about insurance requirements and payment procedures.
• Support billing and finance teams by providing complete insurance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and insurance policies.

Administrative Support

• Maintain patient files and electronic medical records.
• Process correspondence, emails, and healthcare-related documentation.
• Prepare daily patient schedules and reception reports.
• Coordinate with medical, nursing, and administrative departments.
• Handle confidential documents with professionalism.
• Perform additional administrative duties assigned by management.

Key Requirements

• Healthcare reception/front desk experience is required.
• Knowledge of health insurance and eligibility verification.
• Experience in patient registration and appointment scheduling.
