Job Overview

Feras Sweets is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor financial performance against projections.
• VAT Compliance: Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to financial processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and regulations is preferred.
