Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and accounting adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain General Ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and monitor customer collections.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support management with financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper allocation of costs.
• Verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and reporting needs.
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CMA qualification will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
