Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, accounting documentation, and supporting schedules.
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage AMC invoicing, contract billing, and ensure timely issuance of customer invoices.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and conduct regular aging analysis.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
• Prepare collection reports and provide updates to management on receivable status.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow activities and support effective cash management.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
• Maintain financial records related to AMC contracts and prepare contract profitability reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations.
• Assist with VAT calculations, documentation, and filing requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
• Support external auditors during annual audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial records and company information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Experience in Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Facilities Management, MEP, or related service industries is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing AMC invoicing, contract billing, accounts receivable, and customer collections.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Thorough understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
