Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts and supporting schedules.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments efficiently.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Maintain petty cash records and expense documentation.

Payroll Processing

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
• Maintain employee payroll records and salary documentation.
• Calculate employee salaries, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
• Coordinate with HR regarding payroll updates and employee records.
• Ensure payroll complies with company policies and UAE regulations.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Generate management reports using Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.

VAT & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain VAT documentation and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial records.
• Maintain organized accounting files and confidential financial documentation.
• Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE accounting experience (mandatory).
• Candidates without UAE accounting experience need not apply.
• Strong proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience in Payroll Processing.
• Good knowledge of VAT, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting reporting deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
