Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
• Verify financial documents before processing.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain organized financial documentation for future reference.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate management reports and financial summaries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and highlight significant variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare financial information for management review.

Bank Reconciliation

• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash balances with accounting records.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and fund movements.
• Ensure all banking records are properly maintained.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for management.

Accounts Management

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Monitor customer collections and supplier payments.
• Reconcile customer and supplier account balances.
• Maintain accurate payment and receipt records.
• Support invoice verification and payment approvals.
• Follow up on outstanding balances where necessary.

Compliance & Administrative Support

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing day-to-day accounting operations.
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
