Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including profit & loss and balance sheets.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices and processing timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
• Process payroll through WPS (Wage Protection System), ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and post journal entries as required.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and company policies.
• Assist in VAT filing and tax-related documentation, ensuring timely submission.
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and smooth operations.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvement.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with VAT filing and UAE financial regulations.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing through WPS (Wage Protection System).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
